WTI – Parliamentary lock-down lifted

The Parliamentary lock-down has been lifted, with MPs and Peers allowed to leave the Palace of Westminster to go home. They had been under lock-down since proceedings were suspended at about 2:58PM this afternoon, and moved about the Palace to different secure locations.

Speaking to the BBC, Labour MP and former Shadow Leader of the House of Commons Chris Bryant said that Parliament would resume sitting tomorrow, saying “You can’t stop British democracy.”
